The Massachusetts Office of Travel & Tourism (MOTT) hosted a media reception featuring Massachusetts vacation experiences in New York in early May 2013 at The Culinary Loft in Manhattan.
In an effort to highlight all things culinary, MOTT partnered with two chefs in the Commonwealth — Michael Scelfo of Russell House Tavern in Cambridge and Chef Brian Alberg of The Red Lion Inn in Stockbridge.
Berkshire Farm & Table took advantage of this great opportunity to create a strong local food presence and position the Berkshires as a culinary destination. Many journalists were interested in the Berkshire food story – more than 60 media representatives attended including Country Living, Time Magazine, Martha Stewart Living and Travel & Leisure.
Berkshire Farm & Table presented reception attendees with a sample gift bag of Berkshire-made foods to help tell the food story of our region. Many thanks to the following partners for their participation:
